What is LawndingPage

LawndingPage is a lightweight, open-source alternative to services like Linktree and Carrd that gives you full control over your site and data.

LawndingPage is a good fit for:

A simple link hub (links-in-bio page) that won't lock you down to a single service.
A site that you can self-host and manage yourself if you wanted to. Even managed hosting solutions let you download your entire site.
A low-maintenance site that requires absolutely 0 programming skills if we manage the site for you, and minimal setup if you choose to host yourself.
An expandable website platform with new plugins and modules available as time goes on!

How to Get LawndingPage

DIY (Do It Yourself)

Get LawndingPage on GitHub

Currently, in order to use LawndingPage for your site, go to the GitHub and download the most recent release. Feedback can be placed on the repo or by reaching out to me directly. Documentation is found in the readme.md file in the repo.

DIFY (Do It For You)

LawndingPage and managed hosting are both in Beta! Account creation is in limited batches, but if you are interested, a sign-up form will be made soon. Onboarding is a manual process as of now. Stay tuned for more!

What is LawndingPage?
LawndingPage is a simple CMS for micro-sites that can be used as a simple link-in-bio site, a full-on personal website, or even a community hub. The options are truly endless, even at this stage in development!
What is an "instance"?
LawndingPage is the core system. When making a site, one is deploying an "instance" of LawndingPage.
How much does it cost?
LawndingPage itself is free to obtain, whether you host it yourself or let us host for you. Currently, hosting with us is free or PWYW (pay-what-you-want) if you wish to support site development.
So I can self-host LawndingPage?
Yes! Go to the GitHub and download the most recent release! A quickstart guide is found in the documentation.
Are there any perks for supporting you?
Currently, those who choose to pay for hosting will get priority with feedback, including feature requests. All feedback will still be considered! New perks will be added as development continues and will be announced accordingly!
Can I switch from managed hosting with you to doing it myself?
Yes! You can download the site as-is from here, and host it yourself, or go with a different host!
Are there differences between the version of LawndingPage you'll host for me, versus what I get on GitHub?
Currently, versions will be almost-identical, with the same core features available whether you do it yourself, or let me do it for you. As development continues, differences will start to be apparent, however this will mostly be in terms of account self-service options that wouldn't make sense being in the version you host yourself - after all, why would you subscribe to my hosting service if you're hosting it yourself on your own server? :P
How much can I customize LawndingPage?
Currently, background images, logo, and text content can be changed by you. Themes are not supported, but the site is designed to look beautiful and professional. There are currently 2 modules for you to select from as of writing this, with the basic text module supporting limited inline HTML to allow some freeform content to be created. Plugins can be manually created using HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP, with information on this being contained in the documentation. More customization options will be added in time.
